Research Interests: visual research ethics, photogrammetry, cultural anthropology, forensic anthropology, open learning resources, political science, and human geography.

Rachel A. Meneghetti (she/her) graduated from Magee secondary in June of 2021. During her time there, she founded the first Law Society club, and was a co-founder of an animal rescue club at the school. Both of these clubs held fundraisers and spread awareness about ongoing issues. She has also been an active volunteer for the Vancouver General Hospital and UBC hospital foundation as well as volunteering for UBC Geering Up program. She has been a UBC student since September 2021 and is currently in her second year in the Faculty of Arts program on the Vancouver campus. Rachel is part of the ALT 2040 program since May of 2021, under the guidance of Dr. Fiona P. McDonald and Joel Thiessen. Her primary role has been conducting research about visual research ethics and photogrammetry. She is currently working on an ALT 2040 team to create micro-credential courses focused on Visual research ethics and photogrammetry. These courses will be available for UBC students and people outside the university who are interested in these topics.
