Curated and Hosted by Kelsey C. Doyle, PhD Student @ UBCO
Students + Faculty are invited to a curated screening of summer short films from the Smithsonian Mother Tongue Film Festival Archive. Each film will be screened and followed by a moderated discussion. Everyone is invited to dissect the theoretical, technical, ethical, political, and cultural dimensions of each film. This intimate setting is designed to cultivate dialogue that encourages participation beyond passive viewing and unpack the layered implications of visual storytelling in today’s media landscape. Light Refreshments will be served.
